Panacur C is used to help treat hookworms, roundworms, tapeworms, and whipworms in dogs. Panacur C can also be used to treat other parasites. Panacur C is available as 1Gm, 2Gm and 4Gm powder packets and can be mixed with a small amount of the pets usual food. The usual dose for dogs is one packet, based on weight, given once a day for 3 consecutive days.

Fenbendazole
Fenbendazole is FDA approved for use in dogs. Fenbendazole is an anthelminthic (dewormer) used in the treatment of certain types of roundworm, hookworm, whipworm and tapeworm infections in dogs.
Panacur C Canine is available in packs of three 1gm, 2gm, and 4gm.
Directions For Use:
The usual dose for dogs is based on weight and given once a day for 3 consecutive days.
10 pounds 1 gram
20 pounds 2 grams
30 pounds 3 grams (1 gram + 2 grams)
40 pounds 4 grams
50 pounds 5 grams (1 gram + 4 grams)
60 pounds 6 grams (2 grams + 4 grams)
80 pounds 8 grams (4 grams + 4 grams)
Over 80 pounds Use combinations to obtain recommended dose.
Packet size is the daily dose. The dog must be treated with this dose for 3 days in a row.
The medication can be mixed with a small amount of the pets usual food. Dry dog food may require slight moistening to allow for proper mixing. Medicated food must be fully consumed to be effective.
Precautionary Statements:
This medication should not be used in animals allergic to it. Side effects of fenbendazole are rare but may include loose stools.
Because humans can contract roundworm, hookworm and tapeworm from pets, it is important to maintain good personal hygiene. Do not feed the pet rodents or uncooked meat or fish. To prevent reinfection, daily cleanup of stools is recommended.
