Denosyl Chewable Tablets is a nutritional supplement for managing a variety of liver problems such as liver disease for dogs and cats. Denosyl Chewable Tablets has been shown to increase hepatic glutathione levels in cats and dogs. Glutathione is a potent antioxidant that protects liver cells from toxins and death. Denosyl is recommended to improve hepatic glutathione levels in compromised animals to help maintain and protect liver function. Denosyl Chewable Tablets is a non-prescription (OTC) product available in boxes of 30 chewable tablets for dogs of all sizes.

 

 

Directions For Use:
The tablets should be given on an empty stomach at least one hour before feeding. Research shows that, if possible, a fasting period of 8-12 hours before giving this product is optimal.

 

The usual recommended dose:
For dogs up to 6 lbs give 1/4 tablet.
For dogs 7 to 15 lbs give 1/2 tablet.
For dogs 16 to 30 lbs give 1 tablet.
For dogs 31 to 45 lbs give 1 1/2 tablets.
For dogs 46 to 60 lbs give 2 tablets.
For dogs 61 to 75 lbs give 2 1/2 tablets.
For dogs 76 to 90 lbs give 3 tablets.
For dogs 91 to 105 lbs give 3 1/2 tablets.
For dogs over 105 lbs give 4 tablets

When giving more than 1 tablet the total number of tablets may be divided into morning and evening. For example, a dose of 3 tablets could be divided into 2 tablets in the morning and 1 tablet in the evening.

 

Tablets must be given whole. Do not break or split. Research shows that this product may be of benefit to pets that are also taking primidone, Phenobarbital, prednisone, azathioprine, cyclosporine and certain anti-depressants.
