Cosequin is a non-prescription (OTC) nutritional supplement to help dogs maintain healthy joints. Cosequin is an exclusive formula to support and maintain the health of the pet's joints.

 

Cosequin is available in either a Sprinkle Capsule or Chewable Tablet.

 

Directions For Use:
Cosequin Chewable Tablets may be fed directly or crumbled and mixed with food according to directions.
Cosequin Capsules can be pulled apart and the contents sprinkled on the pet's food. Wet or moist food is preferred to ensure that the pet gets the entire amount.

 

For the initial 4 to 6 week administration period for dogs, adminster as follows:
Cosequin Capsules:
For dogs weighing less than 10 lbs give 1/2 to 1 capsule once a day.
For dogs 10 to 24 lbs give 2 capsules daily (1 in the morning and 1 in the evening).

 

Cosequin DS Capsules:
For dogs weighing less than 10 lbs give 1/2 capsule daily.
For dogs 10 to 24 lbs give 1 capsule daily (1/2 in the morning and 1/2 in the evening).
For dogs 25 to 49 lbs give 2 capsules daily (1 in the morning and 1 in the evening).
For dogs 50 to 100 lbs give 3 capsules daily (2 in the morning and 1 in the evening).
For dogs over 100 lbs give 4 capsules daily (2 in the morning and 2 in the evening).

 

Cosequin DS Tablets:
For dogs weighing less than 10 lbs give 1/2 tablet daily.
For dogs 10 to 24 lbs give 1 tablet daily (1/2 in the morning and 1/2 in the evening).
For dogs 25 to 49 lbs give 2 tablets daily (1 in the morning and 1 in the evening).
For dogs 50 to 100 lbs give 3 tablets daily (2 in the morning and 1 in the evening).
For dogs over 100 lbs give 4 tablets daily (2 in the morning and 2 in the evening).

Once consistent improvement has been seen, these maintenance levels may be reduced to an every other day administration. The maintenance level can also be used long-term on normal dogs to help keep their joints healthy.
