Directions For Use:
The suggested initial dose:
For horses under 600 lbs is 2 scoops of powder in the AM and 2 scoops of powder in the PM.
For horses 600-1,200 lbs use 3 scoops of powder in the AM and 3 scoops of powder in the PM.
For horses over 1200 lbs give 4 scoops in the AM and 4 scoops in the PM.

 

The initial administration period is 4 to 6 weeks. However, responses can be seen in as few as 2 weeks.
After achieving a good response, the total daily amount can be reduced by 1 level scoop each week.

 

The suggested maintenance dose:
For horses under 600 lbs is 1 scoop daily.
For horses 600-1200 lbs give 1-2 scoops daily.
For horses over 1200 lbs give 2 scoops daily.

 

The amount can be increased at any time to maintain the desired comfort level.

 

Cosequin Equine Powder can be top dressed on sweet feed. Add a small amount of water or molasses to get the Cosequin to stick on dry feed. Cosequin Equine Powder may also be administered orally. Mix Cosequin with a small amount of water or molasses and dose orally with a syringe.
