Directions For Use:
The suggested initial dose:
For horses under 600 lbs is 1 scoop of powder daily.
For horses 600-1,200 lbs is 2 scoops of powder daily.
For horses over 1200 lbs is 3 scoops of powder daily.
The initial administration period is 2 to 4 weeks.
The suggested maintenance dose:
For horses under 600 lbs is 1/2 scoop daily.
For horses 600-1200 lbs give 1 scoops daily.
For horses over 1200 lbs give 1-2 scoops daily.
The amount can be increased at any time to maintain the desired comfort level.
Cosequin ASU Equine Powder (1300 grams) can be top dressed on sweet feed. Add a small amount of water or molasses to get the Cosequin to stick on dry feed. Cosequin Equine Powder may also be administered orally. Mix Cosequin with a small amount of water or molasses and dose orally with a syringe.
